Last week the Decathlon Premier Padel Tour was held in Ahoy, Rotterdam, where top matches were played for eight days. Both the men's and women's finals provided exciting padel of the highest level.
In the men's final, Arturo Coello and AgustΓn Tapia faced Federico Chingotto and Alejandro GalΓ‘n. After an intense match, Coello and Tapia emerged victorious thanks to their strong tactics and flawless teamwork. Chingotto and GalΓ‘n fought bravely, but could not break the strength of their opponents. Of course, these champions play with the best rackets available. In the women's final, Ari SΓ‘nchez and Paula JosemarΓa faced the strong duo of Gemma Triay Pons and Marta Ortega FernΓ‘ndez. In a nerve-wracking match full of long rallies and brilliant teamwork, SΓ‘nchez and JosemarΓa once again showed why they are among the world's best. Despite the fierce opposition of Triay and FernΓ‘ndez, SΓ‘nchez and JosemarΓa managed to secure the victory, crowning themselves the champions of this prestigious tournament. Of course, they also play with the best rackets available, namely Ari SΓ‘nchez plays with the HEAD Speed Motion and Paula JosemarΓa with the HEAD Extreme Motion
The atmosphere in Ahoy was fantastic all week, with an enthusiastic audience that was treated to spectacle and world class. The Decathlon Premier Padel Tour in Rotterdam was a great success and proved that the popularity of padel in the Netherlands is on the rise. We are already looking forward to the next edition!
